Have you ever wondered why peace between Israelis and Palestinians is elusive? Do you wish to understand this complicated issue but don't know where to begin? Would you like to know more about the beliefs and practices of your Jewish neighbors?

I can help you.

Along with writing, I Co-Direct the Speakers Bureau of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas (JCRC).

I have spoken about Judaism and/or Israel to hundreds of audiences in schools, churches, synagogues, and civic groups.

I bring a mainstream, Jewish-American perspective and years of teaching experience that enable me to make the complex understandable.

Presentations are always free of charge and tailored to fit the needs of the group.

Topics include:

  • Jewish beliefs, practices, holidays, Sabbath observance, life cycle events, Jewish peoplehood and connection to land of Israel
  • Why has peace between Israelis and Palestinians been so hard to achieve? What challenges does each side face in making peace?
  • Geography, historical timeline of region, context for current events
  • How has Israel's entrepreneurial culture earned it the nickname "Start-Up Nation”?
The insight gained from JCRC speakers has added qualitative depth and perspective to my teaching and by extension to my students. I find the academic integrity of JCRC presentations to be most refreshing.

I learned a tremendous amount of information that I never knew about the conflict.”
“I liked how you showed the effects on both sides, and it will help me remember that the conflict is two sided.
